<p>I did mine right away because I knew MSU was where I wanted to go.</p>
<p>They say 4 weeks, but as long as you get it in before May 1st you can enroll (they never run out of housing at MSU like some other schools do).</p>

<p>Michigan State University does not have an early admissions policy. Students are admitted on a modified rolling admissions basis, meaning that as complete applications arrive they are comprehensively reviewed and decisions are generally given within 10-12 weeks.</p>

<p>You get a letter that says “Apply by this date X and you will receive a response by this date Y.”</p>

<p>Son status changed last week to “a decision was made and a letter sent…” but no such letter has arrived (a LOT of our mail gets mis delivered here in NJ) I see some deferred kids have the "7th semester grade thing on their stats. Thankfully, that’s not there. I see one post about one of these envelopes getting lost and also know they “won’t give responses over the phone” How long did it taks from the DATE they posted a decision was made, to the big envelope making it to the east coast. I’m having a hard time keeping the secret from my S</p>
<p>If mail often gets misplaced, I would give it 10 business days from the time of the “decision” date and then call the school to see what’s up.</p>

Biggish white envelope arrived today-CC’ers on target as ALWAYS. Maybe 10 days after transcript showed online as “received” announcement letter was coming 10/22-received on east coast (NJ) 7 days later</p>
