Is this the week that Brown decides who is admitted? A friend told me they did two cuts and now they are doing their final cuts? Anyone have info?

Hmmmm... this would be cutting it awful close to the deadline. I'm pretty sure that they've made all of the decisions already. They're probably just finishing up with the ones that they couldn't all agree on.

Pretty much they should be done with the finalists and the final selection process now....... This is making me feel even more anxious because I know that all decisions are pretty much done and I don't KNOW whether I'm in or not.................. Maybe they should charge people like 20 bucks for early release of admission decisions.. hahaha

I would pay 100, easily, to just find out now.
It is true about the two cuts, but most of the decisions have been made already. They are probably starting the transfer apps now.

Anybody know when ADOCH is? (i.e. what weekend in April) Thanks! :p

Most definitely need to know that. As soon as I find out my school admits I need to figure out if/when I can go and schedule plane flights immeadiately so that the other couple thousand admits won't take all the planes.

April 19-20. A month from today!! Yay!!

i do not expect to be accepted... :(, but if i am :) i will drive. well, my parental units will drive.

"parental units "

hah, really, all the way to providence

I remember driving with my dad to all the colleges I visited this summer

mostly I slept and my dad got lost!

visiting boston during the democratic convention also didnt help espescially when they closed the freeways

Yeah... if I do get admitted, I would have to whip out some air fares... sigh

I wonder if there will be a sudden rush of people buying tickets on april 2nd as the decisions come in, this would be a gold mine for the airlines because the students would want to visit the colleges no matter what

Wonder if the airlines take that into account, and how much flights costs in april as opposed to, say, october.

To get to providence there are still some really cheap tickets on Southwest.

Yeah, it's cheaper for me to fly southwest than to take a train or bus.

on second thought, i may fly... who knows? but i shouldnt be making any plans at this point ... i love flying, but would personally prefer to drive...i love long car-trips.

I love driving on long car trips. The whole passenger thing doesn't really float my boat.

I don't really have the option, being from Texas and all. Driving would take longer than the whole visit.

If I get in, I think I will definitely go. That is, if my mom lets me. ;)

lol I know what you mean laurenemma, I live in Texas too.

My sister is also applying to Brown and it seems the decsions are being finalized in these last few days and even today because she is one of the top recruits for womens atheletics and her coach said that he would know the 15th, then he said the 20th and today he said wait another day. I'm sure he would know who he is getting when it is finalized .
