<p>but someone also said that in the years past, even though it said april 1st on the websites, the decisions were posted online by 3/31.</p>

<p>You have to check the individual sites carefully. Harvard clearly states it will be releasing email admissions decisions after 5:00 pm on March 31st. However, if you have not signed up, (and tested) the email verification process, you will hear after by snail mail.</p>
<p>Princeton says “end of March”.</p>
