Colby says-
Early Decision I letters were mailed on Friday, December 11. Decision information will also be made available on this page after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14.
the link to the website is [Colby College | Admissions & Financial Aid | Class of 2014 Application Information](http://www.colby.edu/admissions_cs/apply_to_colby/status_init.cfm)

ALL THE BEST!!!

thanks! you too!
i saw that this morning and got so nervous! i was not expecting to find out monday. im so scared

haha… i want the decision to come asap so that if i dont get accepted, i can start app for other colleges (havent started anything for other colleges, waitting for colby’s decision)…

btw where are u from… pm me…

yeah i havent started any other apps either! ive applied to a few safety schools but thats it.
and im from california. where are you from?

im frm nepal!!

i hope we both get accepted there…

i know me too!
we find out in less than a day now!!

where else are you applying?

For those wondering what will come first: the letter or the online decision: I live in PA and when I received my letter, it was a day after i read my decision. I would assume that if you are in New England, the letter will come monday so keep your eyes peeled.

BTW: the Class of 2013 acceptance letters were in big envelopes loaded with stuff.

I am so excited and nervous I can hardly contain myself. I have gone over my application 100 times in my head.

charlie135- what exactly did the decision online say? was it the same as the letter you received in the mail?

It was a while ago, but if it did not say “congratulations” in the first sentence, it was most definitely in the first 3. I remember that rejection letters from other colleges usually started with “this year brought us one of our greatest applicant pools… blah blah blah” whereas the acceptance letters ended with that information.

Trust me, it will be pretty blunt, and even so you will reread it 5 times no matter what the decision just to make sure your eyes are not lying to you.

Tomorrow will be a heart-wrenching day for more than ~65% (no thats not an official stat) of you so keep that in mind.

didnt colby accept over 50% of their applicants for ed1 last year?

No, ~50% of the student body was accepted ED1-2, but the acceptance rate in those rounds was 35-40%.

finger crossed for tom!!! if i dnt get into colby, i will have loads of supplements to complete… :(

anyways thanks charlie!!
and ALL THE BEST dvvc!!

THANKS!! YOU TOO!
ahhhh we are 7 hours away!!!
i have no idea how i will be able to sit through school today. this will be the longest 7 hours of my life.

atleast u will be in school, will have something to get u ingaged

but me, its night here, so dont think i will get any sleep here… :(

Yeah I’m in class though when decisions come out so if my teacher doesn’t let me get out of class I’ll have to wait even longer.
What’s the time difference in Nepal?

I got in!!!

Congrats,

You should all know in the next 75 minutes, sometimes it goes up early.

I would be interested to see a stats thread for those accepted/deferred/not offered.

OMG! I got in ED1!!! So excited…Congrats to all 2014ers!!!

I got in!!!
