Decisions Confirmed for April 23, 2013

Hi everyone I want to make this thread for those that are still waiting for decisions at CPP. For those that don’t know, a CPP admissions personal has confirmed that 04/23/13 will be the day decisions will be done and if you aren’t done yet then they will discuss their choice with you over the phone.

I figured we should share each other stats and decisions so that it sort of helps make sense of this process and eases some of our nerves for those that are still nervously waiting like myself.

So I’ll start:

3.03 GPA at the time I applied as a Computer Science Major (unimpacted)
Transfer Student from Northern California ( out of service area )
Golden Four completed.

Status so far: Absolutely nothing, same as the first week when I first got my account info. Nothing for financial aid and nothing on my to do list.

Thanks man.

3.12 here
Mech Eng
Stuck on referred to impacted plan.

Hopefully everyone will post their stats when they get their decision.

This is for.freshman and transfers?

Same ME with 3.9 gpa …

same situation

transfer, CS, 2.99 GPA at time of app.

Gold 4 will be complete this semester w/ AA in CS.

status: application received

i thought CS was unimpacted so it would be fairly easy to get in… :

i’m seeing a lot of freshmen get waitlisted, so hopefully they are just freeing up space for the rest of us transfers…

Civil Engineering, 3.2 GPA, transfer
Golden 4 done, A.S.-Natural Science
Math series done
Referred to Impacted Plan & still waiting

i have a 2.91 GPA transfer. completing my aa-t in psych right now so my gpa is bumped up to 3.01… still have not heard from cpp… however it may be because i turned in my transcripts late. in area applicant, from the cc right next to cpp

ACCEPTED (Provisional Admit)

GPA : 2.91
Major : Undecided
Program : Undergrad./ B.A
What are the chances of getting rescinded for getting 3 D’s? 2 in trig/precal in junior year and 1 in AP stats. senior year?

GPA: 3.05
Major: EE (impacted)
Golden four: finished in two weeks!
All pre-reqs finished (all that are available at my CC anyways)
Our of service area (Pasadena)

Status is still “referred to impacted plan”

3.04 at the time of application but it’s a 3.15 after Fall '12. COMM/PR major. LA County but not in the service area.

I called them today and they said they’re still looking through applications and they will take a couple more weeks.

Wow, so basically nothing is going to happen today then. Smh

@DerangedCorgi

I know… I’ve been stressing for no reason and its making my assignments difficult to concentrate on. -_-

If you look at last year’s acceptance replies, many people got accepted around the 24th or even later and had their SIR dates moved forward. These people included applicants from my major and GPA range (transfer), so I’m keeping my hopes up.

Also, “couple more weeks”? There is only 7 days left until my friend has to make a decision and he will only attend if I get in… :

Err, new to this, but here are my stats ^^

I’m an undergraduate. Major I chose is computer engineering. My GPA is 3.32. I got a 1550 on my SATs.

My status so far is “Application Received” Also, I’m working my butt off to get at least a C in my AP Calculus BC class, since getting a D would get my acceptance(if I do) resended ;___;

@op9no2

Technically last years SIR date was June, this year it’s May so, to be technical, wouldn’t that mean they are extremely lagging it.

Where can you find the sir?

Just spoke to admissions. They told me that they will be sending a status update to everyone that has not heard today by 5:00pm.

Anyone else not get an update yet?

Nothing here yet, if anyone gets anything please post!!

Hey guys…ugh, frustrated.

Nothing yet, it’s 5:21 so…

What are your majors? I’m computer engineering

MechE / Business Admin here.

I have full confidence that i’ll make the business admin program, but I would still like engineering.

Would anyone care to speculate why we’ve all been put off to the side in their process? Maybe they’re trying us out for our secondary majors?
