Hey guys, I'm absolutely torn as to where I want to go for the next 4 years. I'll give you my stats, and please don't hesitate to comment.

-Rutgers U.: If I go here, I'm most likely going to Douglass; it's the best fit, I got into their Scholars Program (any info? opinions?) and they gave me $6,000 a year, which is excellent.
-NYU: I got into GSP, which is 2 years Associates Degree; if you fulfill the requirements and complete it with a 3.0 GPA, you're guaranteed a spot to the original college you applied to. I applied to CAS so I'm really hoping to go there. I really loved the campus (It was a natural fit)
-Stevens Tech: They went above and beyond with the FA package; they lowered my EFC, which is always awesome. I loved the campus, but on princetonreview.com there's ranked pretty up there for the lack of professor interactions and such.
-Carnegie Mellon U.: I've been put on their priority waiting list for MCS. I don't know about the school too much, only that it's in Pittsburgh, the academic rankings, and what I've heard the administration and a few students/prospies say about it. I also feel a bit unfairly treated with the FA package; I've been calling, sending emails and letters asking them for scholarships, grants, any form of money that I could get; and they keep rejecting me, telling me that 'since I'm on the waiting list I get nothing.'

I really need to decide this weekend; what do you guys suggest? Any major pros/cons of choosing Rutgers or SIT (Jersey schools) over NYU? If you guys know anything about CMU, PLEASE tell me asap, I can still withdraw my application before 5/5.

Thanks a lot,
Angel

Rutgers.

CMU's campus sucks, rutgers is much better than stevens academically, and i'm not sure what GSP is, but Rutgers still sounds like it would be better. And Douglass is a really nice campus and if the scholars program is anything like the honors program at Rutgers College, it's great; you get really nice housing and smaller classes taught by the best profs. :)

What are you planning on majoring in? CMU's CS program is top ranked rivaling those of MIT and Stanford.

I want to do a pre-health track; most likely bio.
