When updating info since I finally got the AP awards, they said in the e-mail "Decisions for Early Action have already been made, but we'll still add the
information about your distinction award to your file." so decisions are made.... and should be sent soon

Thank God! I've been waiting so long. Now that I know though that decisions are on their way I'll be even more rabid at the mailbox waiting for the mail everyday(wait did I just admit in public that I'm rabid at the mailbox) Anyways guys best of luck to you all and post here the second you get anything.

Hiya. You guys should expect your decisions to arrive by the end of next week (closer to the second half, but hopefully by Friday). Good luck to everyone.

Erm... what about US citizens living abroad? We all know that international mail is very unreliable. It will take > 2 weeks for me. :(

Hi. I took a look at your chances post and your odds of admission look quite good to me (which I don't say lightly). Anyway, two weeks is an unfairly long time to wait. I recommend calling admissions on Friday 12/17 or the next Monday after that and asking for the decision; explain you're international and it will take ages to reach you. I'm pretty sure the secretary will tell you; if this tentative advice changes I'll let you know.

However, a general good idea for everyone is not to pester admissions before then about when decisions are being mailed because it will annoy them (it's a pretty busy time up there) and not yield anything useful. The answer they will give is "expect the decisions to arrive by the end of next week."

Good luck to you all. :-)

Any idea how many were accepted / how many applied? I think I need to brace myself...

I'll get some stats for you and post them. :-)

You know, I got the AP award thing too, but it didn't occur to me to add it to my file. We'll see if I get deferred...I hope not, though.

Alright then. I can call in on Friday? What should I ask them?
