Just called - they have on recording that decisions are mailed this afternoon.

awwww....shiat

Did they mention what time?

What time mailed? "the evening of Wednesday, March 29."

Ooh okay thank you :) I hope they send out emails for internationals today...

Woah. I'm going to have received all of my decisions before the start of April. Yikes. Now, it's decision time :(. Good luck everyone!

Misoobisihi, you'll let us know, I trust. best of luck.

wow tmasta, thanks for the update. This is huge. If I'm in the West Coast, could I conceivably get it by Friday.

What liars they are!

Haha, hmm... is there any chance Princeton will send letters overnight like Vanderbilt did?

haha they didn't early...I got a skinny lil envelope two days after the postmark.

I'm assuming you got deferred ED. I think I'm calling tomorrow to check (even though they'll probably lie again.) My acceptance packet for Vandy arrived on the 27th and it was postmarked the 25th (the 26th was a Sunday.) I'm suprised you were deferred, didn't you get a likely notice from Duke?

I was deferred, and I did get a "early notfication" letter from Duke. Calling to check if they were mailed overnight?

I promise you, the aholes won't tell you anything, let alone the truth.

Admission or rejection, it's good to know that we won't have to deal with the Office of Admission much longer. Ahhh I'm going crazy!!

Are they going to email International candidates? How do you know?
Thank you!

The following message began playing--presumably, since the Admissions Office closes at 5 PM--at 5:01 today. Since the verb used is "were," it sounds like the letters went out some time before 5.

If so, then there's time for them to be sorted and processed this evening. Thus, locals might receive their letters tomorrow.

"Decision letters for the class of 2010 were mailed through the US Postal Service the evening of March 29th."

Hmmm... possibly. But then again, the recording could have been made beforehand (i.e. regardless of whether or not the letters had gone out yet*) to ensure that it was set/ready for "curious callers" once the office closed.

In any case, good luck to everyone!!

Oh... and this may sound like a stupid question, but is there onlin notification for Princeton? I know that for the other Ivies I applied to, they either send an e-mail decision, post it up on their website, or both! Do Pton applicants just receive letters? Just wondering. Thanks and again, best of luck!! :)

Just another spin that may possibly support several theories on this thread that Pton admissions officers lie ;)

Just letters. Apparently the internet is too dangerous for Princeton.

is there a way i could track my letter that's sent from new jersey to my home in cali so that i could intercept it in Kansas?

hehehe ^^^

Haha... wow whatiscollege, that's sure an adventurous plan!! Are you actually going away to Kansas RIGHT BEFORE decisions come in the mail? ;) :D

I actually heard it from this forum. I emailed Princeton and asked them to email my decision and they said "Thank you we have added your email on the notification list" or something along those lines.
