Any chance that decisions will be released on March 31? How has it been traditionally? Do ivies state it will be released on a certain day and release it sooner? I don't think schools have ever released it as late as April 1...

They’ve announced it as April 1st, so I’m pretty sure it’s coming April 1st. If it makes you feel better, at least this year wasn’t a leap year; so we have about the same days between application deadline and the decisions as a handful of years past :p

I applied EA to Stanford… and they said that they would release decisions on a certain date… then released them one day early…
There’s always hope, but I wouldn’t count on it :D

the ivies have an agreement… they don’t have freedom in the release date

Stanford RD released them SIX days early haha. But aznjunior is right, Ivies can’t do that kind of thing.

actually, ivies can. but if they do it, then they all release them early. When stanford released their EA stuff early (I know it’s not an ivy, but just trying to make a point) Yale, WashU etc. decided to release their results early as well.
However, I feel like we would have known by now if they were.

I think we’re in for the long haul on this one. Only two more days though…shudder

I didn’t know that Harvard don’t posted Decisions online!!! thank god I decided to get email decision!

@ woahness ummm no… I applied to Yale SCEA and they released they’re decisions exactly when they had announced they would. They even posted on their site that a few days prior that although other schools like Stanford, Cornell etc. moved their date up, Yale would not.

ah. my mistake. But I do know that several schools released their decisions early. Once again, I doubt the ivies will.

lol i have to say i was sorely disappointed when i learned that this year, the ivies were releasing on april 1st instead of march 31st…grr xD
