decisions. UWisc-Madison vs UIllinois-Urbana Champaign

Despite my acceptance to decent engineering schools such as Cornell, Berkeley, and wait-list for MIT, my parents narrowed my choice of colleges to U Wisc- Madison and UIUC because of financial reasons. I got accepted to both the schools for Nuclear Engineering. However, I also got into the Honors program for UIUC and a good amount of scholarship so that I would be paying in state tuition. Where as, I haven't even heard back from U Wisc's fin. aid office yet. On some sites U Wisc's rating is higher though for Nuclear Eng..? So I am quite confused. Any Advice? HELP? I'm about to jump off a building.. gah.. What would yall do??

You say you haven’t heard from UW-Madison Financial Aid yet; have you turned in all required forms including your tax return transcript and your parents’, as well as verification forms if requested?

Most engineering firms are far less ranking driven than other areas. UI and UW are both in the top tier in engineering.

As an overall engineering school, UI is ranked higher. It turns out, however, for the specific area of nuclear engineering UW (graduate school ranking) is #2 tied with MIT and UI is #10:
