Will email notifications for internationals be sent out on the Thursday (Mar. 31st) as well?

I was deferred by Stanford EA but admitted by NU so I'm feeling pretty good right now and it definately raised my hopes!

krk - i definitely understand what you're saying.. i got deferred by Stanford EA but i was admitted by MIT RD... it kinda raised my hopes...

Are International packages sent by DHL or FedEx or by regular mail?

Good luck. For southern California you can expect a 1-day delay (not the day after the 31st, but the next mailing day after that it should come). Based on experience from SCEA, plus there's probably a mail rush around late March.

so basically on saturday, the usual day for receiving important stuff (i.e. report cards, etc) .. oh man, saturday's either gonna be really good or really bad. GREAT.. i hate that i have work that day too.. then i won't be able to find out until i get home.. blargh

The good news for SoCal-ers:

No April Fool's letters from Stanford. :)

lol

it would suck if they all mailed decisions that said You got in... then April Fools! Decisions will be mailed next week...

i would eat them alive, dawgquelle, hehe

My friends WILL definitely play that trick on me... Then I'll kick their a**... :D

so if i live in the bay area will it come on like friday ?

I think it would :)

Or even better- the big "CONGRATULATIONS!!" fat packet with a single letter inside- "We're sorry, you've been rejected. We ran out of small envelopes."

i'd prob faint...

when are the letters expected to reach the east coast??

lol@uncle feezus...owch at the very thought...

They'll reach the East Coast on Monday most likely.

hey,
are we able to check our decision online, or do we have to wait for the letteR?

We have to wait for our letter.

Is the 31st verified?
