Decisions

Does anyone know when I should get my decision? I'm Out of state from Florida

Any time now! They are releasing decisions every day, so keep checking.

Has anyone gotten a decision for College of Natural Sciences (in state)?

People have been getting acceptances to the CNS for a few months now. In to UT = in to CNS.

Do you get an email that your decision is out or is it jus tposted on the mystatus page?

I’m waiting also. I applied really early in october, and I have literally been checking everyday. I dont think you get an email.

Hasn’t it pretty much just been the top 9% who have found out about getting in to the College of Natural Sciences??

Top 9% instate is automatically admitted to UT, Undergrad Studies, CNS, and COLA.

Exactly, luminne. I have not heard of anyone that’s not top 9%/auto-admits who have heard from CNS-- other than reading of a few who applied to McCombs and were offered Computer Science through CNS…

Yeah, it’s a tricky process. I’ve been trying to figure out how they cascade, or when they cascade people to their second major, but I’ve had no luck. I know it’s when a major fills, but are people denied to their first major and cascaded immediately? That would be smart. But it seems like the colleges are doing everything separately. It’s a tad odd to me.

I’ve heard that all OOS and in-state decisions will be posted tonight on MyStatus somewhere between 5-11 PM. This came from an email from a UT admissions counselor and other applicants followed up to call and confirmed that they will be posted tonight. Good luck to you guys!

Does anyone know when will the result for International be released?

I got my acceptance notification on the MyStatus page yesterday. I am also OOS (Ohio).
Good Luck!!
