Any chance they will be on the 25th like last year? Also, anyone know if the Echols/Rodman selections will be released with the decisions?

The 25th would be unlikely as it’s a Sunday. Watch Dean J’s blog, [Notes from Peabody: The UVA Application Process](http://uvaapplication.blogspot.com/) , for any updates regarding an earlier release of the decisions. She’ll post any information there first as soon as she knows anything.

Ah, didn’t even consider the day of the week. Perhaps the 26th then, hopefully. And I look at the blog frequently; I made this post for pure speculation.

They did get many more applications but then again 8000 were evaluated early. Hmmm we shall see. So nervous

Today Dean J weighed in on her blog to the requests for an update:

I think UVa decisions tend (major emphasis on the tend) to come out the Friday before the deadline. I know UVa has a certain day that they tend to release, but I can’t remember if it’s that Friday or not.

That would be March 30th this year. Looking at the decisions post from last year, they were released by Wednesday, March 25th. Of course there are more applicants this year though.

Just saw a tweet from Dean J: Great news!! TODAY IS THE DAY - GOOD LUCK ALL!!
