Decisions

grm024,
i'm nervous and impatient =(
are you international? and are you accepted?
Because I guess they send e-mails only to the accepted students..
and i haven't received =(

I never got an email from them... just the acceptance packet from them today (I got in). No, I'm not international.

****ing waitlisted

accepted! :)

I LOVE THEIR PERSONALIZED LETTER!

cool. accept. nice personalization. Financial aid??!!?!

My D was accepted!!! What a great letter! Very personalized- I was impressed!!! We have some tough decisions in our house. Good Luck to all!

My son was admitted today. Decision between NYU and Lafayette a difficult one. Quite different choices, huh?

what does your son want to major in?

do they send an email or just a letter in the maiL???

Lafayette must have gotten tons of apps this yr. I'm waitlisted with a 2070/1330 and 3.9. I visited and interviewed.

accepted today :) likewise, their personal acceptance letter was very nice for a change.

He's undecided but has a passion for the bass guitar- doesn't wanna major in music however.

My son got acceptance letter yesterday. It was a nice (personal) letter. However, he'll be declining because he's already accepted his appointment to West Point - so hopefully that'll help one of you get off the waiting list! Good Luck!

USMA_Dad----Best if luck to your son. You must be so proud!!!! Anyone who goes to West Point must be a special person. Good Luck to the waitlist person who gets his spot. :)

DS was accepted, letter arrived Monday. Now some tough decisions to make....4 acceptances in hand and still waiting to hear on two more -
scrowman, like your D I think it will come down to an odd pair - Lafayette or Univ of Toronto?

Spikemom- it's my son and he hasn't given us a clue as to whether it's gonna be Lafayette or NYU. I don't think HE really knows himself yet. He has been accepted at UCONN and Maryland but they seem to be out of the mix. He has one more reach to hear from and will probably not get in there. I am a graduate of Lafayette and have mixed feelings about his going there. After all- Easton PA is not NYC. And it gets pretty tired after 4 years. But the Lafayette education is top-notch and the small size is more appealing to ME than the large size of NYU- I don't know anything about Toronto but I'm sure it's the same dilemma. Most of the kids like their choice in the first year. They make friends anywhere.
I've tried to stay out of the process but he has a difficult choice as does your son. Good Luck to you and him.

scrowman, sorry I mixed D with S - four members of my family have attended Lafayette, my 78 yo dad would die very happy if DS went there - but like you I have reservations - excellent school but I think he's ready for the big time....

i havent gotten a decison letter let...should i be concerned??

FcNannyUnited, if I were you, I would send an e-mail asking them to e-mail the decision because the snail mail might have gotten lost
