Hmmm...I'm applying RD, so I was wondering if I should apply as an Engineering major or a Business major. It seems that they accept more Business people.... Or perhaps, I should apply in an area that not many people apply in--say, aeronautical engineering? (Right now, it's at Electrical Engineering, which I'm pretty sure a lot of people will also put down. Will I have an edge if I pick a major that no one else picks?) Thanks!

And congrats to everyone who got accepted!!! (Maybe I'll see ya'll next year!) By April, we HAVE to start a Washington 2009 topic and get to know each other!

Yeah, but for some reason a forum seems much more easier than this live journal thing. Anyway, gfefe, I applied for aeronautical engineering and I was accepted, so who knows, maybe that will help you. Do they care if you put something down and just decide to change it later? Its not like they can do anything, so you could always try that. I doubt, though, they admit someone based on what they originally say they are going to major in. Good luck though

It doesn't take much time to join live journal--but if you don't wanna join, that's cool. I'd like as many people that can to join it so we get to know each other.

Actually, I was just looking at the Wash U Class of 09 and it seems more like a forum than I thought. I'll get around to joining sooner or later.

Yeah I got in to Wash U ED like all of you, but I know that I'm going to end up seeing you people next fall and be like, ohh that's so and so from online, and it will be akward so I think that I'll wait to meet you guys in person.

people who got in last year who posted here seemed somewhat... passive...
if i got in wash u... i have no idea what i would do (probably commit suicide cuz i would never be happier in my entire life)!!
