I got my acceptance today, the 28th, but I live in Oregon.
They gave me a really good aid package, too–it’s my top choice, and it’s looking like it’s going to be really affordable!

when do you think they will get to michigan? tuesday?

I got my acceptance letter today from TX. =D

wait-listed. I am gonna remove my name though. I have Northwestern, Wellesley and Bowdoin behind my back… lol

Accepted! It was super exciting, 'cause they gave me the best finaid package. :D

^^I completely agree! Pomona’s financial aid was, by far, the best. Not by much, but I have to pay the least amount of money here so far. (By the way, I got accepted as well and am from Virginia. The letters have definitely moved eastward!) Good luck everyone!

Well, for me, the most affordable (so far) is actually Colorado College–but not by much, and I think I’ll end up at Pomona. However, I haven’t gotten my finaid from Whitman–the acceptance and a scholarship, but no information about finaid. If they pony up, that may end up my cheapest school, b/c I wouldn’t have to fly in and out of there. And I like it a lot, almost as much as I like Pomona, so if it’s significantly cheaper, I may end up there.

Pomona, however, ended up costing about as much as Willamette U., which was (kind of) my safety–I would have had a real safety, but I got my acceptance from them the day after Thanksgiving.

Pomona’s FA was excellent but not as quite as good as Duke’s, by $2000 ($6.5k vs $4.5k)

I was extremely satisfied and ecstatic with Pomona’s fin aid- my mother almost cried- 47k+ each for my twin brother and I

Ahhhh shizz, I just got in, playaz…GO SoCal!!! ■■■■ !!!

@anonymous91 - both you and your twin brother applied, were accepted, and might possibly go to the same school? i’m gonna take the plunge into Lame and Embarrassing Ocean and go ahead and say that that’s completely adorable (: alright, i’ll go run away and be awkward now.

I’m pretty sure there’s already a pair of twins in the Pomona 2013 group on Facebook… it is cute haha

Rejected! Hahaha, got into USC on Saturday though so I’m excited!
Congrats and good luck to all!

hahaha yea… what can i say =)

I was waitlisted, which was rather surprising considering they were calling the counselor about me in mid-March. I don’t really care though. Pomona was fifth on my list, behind all three Ivies I applied to. As Dartmouth has already accepted me, I wasn’t going to go anyways.

Congratulations to everyone who got in, especially if it was your first choice. I’m sure you’ll enjoy attending there next year.
