decisions...

Meh, I got waitlisted. Haverford wasn't really my top choice, but it was the second most selective school I applied to so it would've been nice to be able to say I got in... :(. Now for some reason I feel like I really wanted to go there, but maybe that's just a feeling of disappointment--this is my first rejection :(

cgaynor - Sorry about the waitlisting. I hope your first choice works out for you. What does a waitlist letter look like? I'm afraid to check the mailbox.

newengland-- A waitlist envelope looks like a rejection, but it has about three more papers inside so its slightly thicker.

Waitlisted.

Haverford was basically my top school.

They say that they will not make a decision until mid-May; but I have to reply to my other schools (which I also would not mind going to) before May 1st.

What should I do?

If you accept a spot on the waitlist you also need to send in your deposit by May 1st to another school. If you get accepted off the waitlist in mid May then you can pay a deposit to Haverford and release your spot at the other school.

I've heard that some schools, (like Haverford), say that if you're in a situation like that, you can call them and they'll extend the deadline past May 1st for you. Maybe you should check to see if the other schools you've applied to have something similar. Best of luck!

accepted.....but is it just me or is there no info whatsoever about financial aid?

I was accepted as well and found no info about financial aid either! I really need to know this so that I can make accurate choices about finances. I'm going to call tomorrow and see what's up.

I also didn't get any info on financial aid... I might wait a couple days before calling though, because I feel like they normally come about a week after we get decisions...

waitlisted. better than a rejection i suppose.

Accepted - 2300 -

Accepted! :D

waitlisted but im not gonna stay on the list. i got into Cal so i think ill be going there :)

=[ No letter in Hawaii yet

accepted (five minutes after I got rejected from Claremont McKenna, actually). If I don't get into Tufts I'll probably be going to Haverford (and even then maybe), so see ya all around!

Waitlisted... Eh.

Have any internationals received their decisions yet?

Waitlisted.....and devastated....I'm staying on the list if I don't get into Wellesley or Pomona and it obviously doesn't look good at this point :(

Does anyone know how many people Haverford took off the waitlist last year?

Yeah.
Three.
