I just got an email from the office of admissions. Decisions will be mailed on March 26th, and they will not be available online.

Well, by mail, I'm sure they'll be in First Class mail (maybe, priority) and they should arrive on the 28th (if not, 30) at CA and the rest of the country.

I hope they e-mail the decisions to internationals ;p

I live in MA, about a 3.5 hour drive from Vassar. Is it dreaming too big to hope for the envelope on Friday? Or will it probably not come til Saturday? I have a bad feeling I already know the answer to this...

ah i was just going to say that, because i live about 1.5 hours from vassar... i have a feeling we're just dreaming for an envelope on friday... but i am dying of anxiety!

my best guess is that people in the US will have their packages by saturday if they send it priority or monday/tuesday otherwise...

the email i got said they will be sending "decision letters on March 26th via US mail only," but i'm not sure about intls.

Did everybody else get this email too?

I didn't. I'm international though, and other schools have been sending us email decisions instead. Does anybody know if this is the case?

Time couldn't go any slower

The email I am talking about was a response to one I sent them asking if they were going to post decisions online so I doubt that anyone else got it.

im pretty sure that internationals still get their letter through email though =)

It would make sense to me, but I have no idea...

I read on one of these posts that a someone in the Vassar office said that they are mailing decisions on the 26th of March. Good Luck Everyone!!

I'm an international, and I didn't get the e-mail either. This is really not a decision I'm waiting to hear. Laugh out loud.

2 MORE DAYS! This is ridiculous. I'm not international and didn't get that e-mail though....

^ me neither...

chigirl, I live in MA, too, and I think my letter will probably get to my house on Saturday. It depends what kind of mail they do, but I guess it's possible for it to get there Friday.

Guys, I live 5 minutes away from Vassar. If I run...
Would it be possible that I go to that school on 26th and then respectfully ask my envelop saying "don't waste the postal service money"...
I'm kidding... OMG.. getting crazy. wish good luck for you guys..

I know all of you are nervous.....I definitely was too. I applied early decision and got my acceptance letter the day after it was mailed (I got it on a Saturday). I live a little over an hour away from Vassar, but for some reason, no one else that I spoke to (in Westchester or anywhere else) got their letters before Monday. Most people did get them on Monday though. Regardless of where you live, it's only a few more days :)

Can't you just hear those envelopes stacking up? LOL

Good luck!!!!!
