Hello everyone,

This is actually my first post here on CC. I read somewhere that Deerfield offered some form of assistance purchasing dress code clothing for students on significant or full FA as a way to bridge the gap between the haves and have nots as far as clothing goes, so to speak. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Thanks

I think that’s probably right. FA covers a variety of things including books and necessities like dress code clothing in many schools, and I think that would be true for Deerfield also. Don’t take my word for it because I am not affiliated with Deerfield. You would also probably get more response posting on the main thread :)

I’ve never heard of FA providing a “bridge the gap” clothing allowance, except in schools that have a specific uniform as part of the dress code, or if all students have a mandatory sports travel outfit like a warm up suit that they all have to wear to games.
