But really, can we start a thread to discuss?

How many people got deferred? What are the chances of getting in?

How many people got deferred? What are the chances of getting in?

Just to give you one perspective...

I was deferred when I applied ED and then when regular came around, I was waitlisted (which I believe is due to the fact that I had no work experience whatsoever). However, I finally ended up getting in off the waitlist.

Moral of the story: If it could happen to me, it could happen to anyone.

I got deferred from the hotel school as well, unfortunately. I really don't know how to take it. I suppose it's not a good thing, but not a bad think either. Nonetheless, I still have faith.

I hear when you get deferred you're supposed to send in additional information. (teacher recs, so forth...) Anyone know anything about this?

Yeah send in your senior grades.....

Did Hotel Reject anyone?

have faith!

The hotel school has a higher acceptance rate for regular than for early. Hotel is really specific...they really only admit you if they think you are really interested and a good match for the program. Don't give up. Get a job in hospitality, get some employer receommendation. Good luck
