what does your defer letter say?
Are they all the same?
thanks

What does yours say (I need to prepare myself)?

Second parag
Often deferral meams that the committee would like to see your senior year academic performance. your application will be reconsidered in feb and march with entire applicant pool. Please be sure your counselor sends us Mid yr report asap. If you have additional infor you would like us to review, please send it to us by the end of jan. plwease be aware that we expect as strong an applicant pool in RD as we had on this early rd.

One more parag
I was wondering if my low GPA was the reason(one of) i was deferred?

lmao seriously?
I didn't read that far.
I have a 4.0.
It can only get lower lol
dammit.

that is why i am wondering if we all got the same letter.
i do have low GPA, but it would not make sense to ask for improvement from someone with 4.0

I got that exact letter as well.

Yeah I reread it and that's what it said.
haha When they're reviewing me for RD, they'll be like
"Hmmm well she had a 4.0 during ED. And now.....she still has a 4.0. No improvement. REJECT."

lol =P

haha :P yep i think they were all the same...

haha

i guess you better figure out how to bring that gpa up =p

My weighted GPA should go up though.
5.7826 to....5.8something. lol

Isn't anything ever good enough for them?!

haha just kidding.

lol, i'm totally sympathetic, omz. I'm so ****ed about getting a B this first semester, and yes, because i got the exact same letter, i have to send in my grades. [sighs]....

My exams are this week.
So I haven't gotten a B....yet.
I'm pretty sure I'll get one in English though.
There goes my perfect 4.0
gah =/

My GPA id actually dropping bc. the school has run out of honors/AP classes for me to take! How sad is that??? :)

lmao that's very sad nelle.
Mine will also drop because I have to take speech next semester.
Hopefully, the unweighted won't drop for me.
That's all I care about haha

lol, I got my first B in French too. The Deferrees with B's club!

wow nelle i sympathize......

lol you people are beasts =p
I got a B+ in LA sophomore year...and a B+ in french junior year ...
and a B in bio first mp of this year. >.<

but uh, my school offers only 9 AP courses, and I will have taken 7 of them by the time I graduate. The reason I can't take the other 2 is because there is a scheduling conflict with one of the AP courses that I am in right now...I think I have the most AP courses in my school =/

It's official.
I'm pretty sure I just got my first B today.

haha ouch....

^^^ me too lol i seriously failed an art history exam after trying to learn a million dates last night

haha see the sad thing is,
I'm pretty sure I failed my Calculus exam.
But I need a 62 to get an A for the semester.
So I'm not worried.

But what I am worried about, is my English exam, even though it was super easy.
Because I need a 93 for an A this semester.

lmao
