On the college website, they recommend to send additional materials which applicants thinks that can improve their status, and help them in.

BUT, should I really send something? If so, what kind of materials should i send?

Write something the them? This semester I don't attend clubs and social activities as much as I did in the former years, but devoted my whole being into AP learning! Four APs! That's really suck! I think that is the only story to share, should I write something to the university?

As an international student, I only got 540 in CR, but 770 in math, 720 in writing, and I demonstrated strong ability in english by achieving TOEFL of 110! My extracurricular activities is juicy, and I have lots of volunteering experiences. At the same time I'm a leader in a school club, and always perform as a leader in my school! I bet the only reason they defer my application is my bloody CR score(their average is 620~700+!)pity!

What should I really do to make myself more qualified? Btw, can you CHANCE me?

Seng your mid-year report, " if it is good." otherwise , i don’t know what additional materials should you send to the admission office, since you don’t have any significant achievement.
“4 APs!.” Most top students in my school take 4 aps or even more, i won’t think it will be a good story to share with.

I’d write a letter about 1-2 activities you’ve done this semester and how it has helped to your growth (lol cheesy wording). I don’t think it matters that you didn’t participate in as much EC as before because laundry lists bore them anyway. You should just focus on writing about what you have learnt and how have you have improved with these experiences since the last time you sent your app in. Then you should also reinforce your interest in UMich as well. :)

You could try to write about you studying the APs… Especially if your school doesn’t normally offer them and you had to self-study…although I think its much harder to write about academics. lol but honestly, if you are a good writer and thinker, you can basically turn any topic into a convicing letter to win the Admission Officers over. :D:D

GL haha I’m an international student as well. I was deferred from Wharton… I’m writing my deferral update thing right now. :)
