I read the posts from last year and students with 4.1s and 2210 scores got deferred, which is crazy considering LMU should be a safety for them. I got deferred with 30 ACTs, which is way above the average, and a 3.6 weighted (3.3 unweighted) gpa, but students with much lower scores have gotten in. Is there hope for deferred students? Cause it seems like the people who get in EA are perfect students and the deferred students still got a shot. My Senior year GPA is gonna be in the 3.9ish weighted area (idk unweighted) so idk how much that helps. I thought I would get into LMU cause of my courseload (lots of APs/Honors), over 300 hours of volunteering, and FBLA awards (i'm applying for business). I even wrote a screenplay that got picked up by a production company and wrote about the business experience I got from it in my essay, but i guess that wasn't enough. Anyone have anything encouraging to tell the deferred students lol
