So LMU is my dream school, hands down. I applied EA and got deferred to the regular pool but I guess I don't blame them since I'm not the kind of student who would stand out based on my grades to be accepted EA. I had a 3.35 cummulitive GPA from freshman year to junior year, but I have a positive grade trend and this past semester, i got a 3.89 UW/ 4.15 W GPA. I have a lot of EC activites like varsity sports, charity work, a job, and 10 years of playing the piano. Based on all of this, what do you think my chances of getting into LMU are? I'm really nervous to hear back. Thank you!</p>
<p>Well my GPA is about the same, but I had killer essays and ECs, got in RD. I am first gen, low income, and not white though. </p>

<p>I’m in the same boat, rolled over from EA similar GPA upward trend great rec and essays and extras but TERRIBLE ACTs. Anyone else have a comment?</p>

yankeesgirl - im not oos, i live in norcal, so that could possibly work against my chances i think
cowman - when did they notify you? since its rolling I have not clue when to expect a decesion so i’m super nervous haha
babyboo - what did you get on your ACT if you don’t mind me asking? I bet that if you have a good resume otherwise, they would probably understand that not everyone is good at taking standardized tests.</p>
<p>Since I live in New Jersey I think I won’t here back until at least April 
I sent my stuff in, in the beginning of January and they got all of it. I’m so nervous I need to get into LMU.</p>

<p>I’m really nervous to hear back too, especially since you never know when your letter will come. Do they post their decision on MyPAW before you get your letter or is it after?</p>

I have a 3.7w 3.67n/w, an 1850 on my SATS, i was in rigorous and advanced extracarriculars like Madrigals Choir and Theatre Arts for all four years. I was also a part of an Israeli exchange program, and was involved in public speaking, the musicals, plays, and production crews.
I took a few APs…just AP English Language and AP Literature…
I think my essays were really well-written.
I’m so curious and anxious!!!
Also, do they care alot about first semester grades because I am getting a 3.4 this semester and I have always done better than that.</p>
