not that it applies to me....
but i thought that some of you would like to know.
I know 2 people from my school that were originally deferred and heard back from UMich about being accepted today (2/10)

good luck to all!

My D just heard today - she was accepted.

From the newly accepted that were originally deferred do you know which deferral letter they first received?

My daughter got the “this is still good news” version. She was accepted today. It’s funny, I haven’t looked at CC in weeks, but this morning I was procrastinating before heading out into -12 temps to go to work, so I came to this site and read about a mother who had just checked WA for the hell of it and saw her daughter’s decision.

I chewed on that all day and when I got home, just like that mom, decided to have a peek at WA and sure enough, the “View Decision” link was there! Total kismet, man.

is this by email are all you checking the WA site

I checked the WA site around 11 am and nothing. Then checked again at 2pm and it said “view decision”. My daughter’s email showed nothing at 2:30 but around 4pm the email arrived with the time stamp of 11:15 am.

Congrats Java97 esp. after the stressful period bc of the EA deferral!

Hope to get my decision soon too!! :)

I just heard back today - accepted.
I’ve got a lot of thinking to do about where to go now!

Congratulations to the accepted ones and their parents. I hope I will hear the good news soon.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you goblue2015 and omgmit and all those who haven’t heard yet. I will keep checking back to see when you get in! This forum really helped preserve what little sanity I have left and I am now worrying about the rest of you getting in soon.

where does one see the “View Decision” link on WA?

and did they/you send in your midterm report and/or additional information before hearing back?

Good… hopefully this cuts down the number of people that got super bent out of shape when.they were deferred EA and acted like it was a rejection

Thank you Java97!

I’ll let you and the others here know when I (or any of my friends) receive results!! :)

Kevinnnnni, yes my daughter sent out her first trimester grades on Jan. 14th. I checked with admissions on Jan 28th to make sure they’d received them. The “view decision” link is only there once the decision is in. Log into WA and then click “application status” and see if it’s there. The email will show up too, it just could take a few hours before it does. I imagine some get the email sooner than others. I’d only check on days when lots of others were getting notified. GL

Hi
Are those who heard back from being deferred EA applicants only?
I was deferred RD and was wondering when I would hear back
Thanks

As far as I know, none of the RD deferred applicants got their final decisions back. A friend of mine got deferred in RD and he is yet to hear a final decision.

Okay! Thanks :D

are these EA deferrals or RD deferrals?

I was EA Defferal and got in this past Thursday! Hope to clear up any questions!
