So I know two other people who, like me, were deferred in December. We are from Southern California...I have a Verizon/Yahoo! e-mail account. I've decided based on other threads that deferred people have not heard anything yet...does anyone know why? Or when we can expect to hear? I'm not gonna lie I'm kinda mad because I just spent the better part of the first day of my spring break checking my e-mail...

I'm going to stay up all night!! haha, or at least for the next 3 hours. =) I figure, at 3AM my time (same as Stanford's), if it's not come, it's not coming. lol. It's odd though, but I am still hopeful!! I just want to get in. I prayed to God. =)

That's funny; two of my friends here in southern California were deferred and they still have yet to hear from Stanford. Meanwhile, another friend, same school, got her "waitlisted" letter and a couple have gotten rejection letters (my school had about a dozen applicants; 4 SCEA, I got in, 2 deferred, 1 rejected, and 2nd round was about 8 people or so, most of which received rejection or waitlisted letters)

I have noo clue

I was deferred also and I have a comcast email...
thank god I didnt start checking till 11 pm xD

my son was deferred in Dec. and he recvd his denial today at 4:30pm.

It's Saturday in Stanford and Arizona (where I'm at home). Hopefully the 2nd day time status will draw more emails out. Does anyone know of the last time an email went out?

Yeah, NorCal deferred didn't get an email either. Gmail.

Northern California deferred here and still waiting too. This is really unprofessional.

International... deferred.. no email

Oh my, I just noticed something:

[quote]
The Office of Undergraduate Admission will mail and email decision letters to applicants who applied for admission under Stanford's Regular Decision process on Friday, March 28, 2008. Decision letters and emails will be sent sometime after 3pm (Pacific Time) on Friday. Decisions will not be available anywhere on our website, in person or by phone .

This might be intentional.

EDIT: But still, some people claim getting emails. =/

but some deferrees have gotten their decisions. why haven't all of us gotten it then?

So if we go by that quote, when would they be sending to deferred students?

I live in Southern CA too, was deferred, and haven't heard back yet! It's already Saturday too! Out of the people I know who were deferred (most from my school), three including me are still waiting, 1 got in, and 2 got rejected. I am soo confused why it's taking so long for them to send it. Do you think we'll just have to wait until Monday because they aren't working now (or are they?))?

Not fair!! but honestly, there are actually people out there who got in after getting deferred?! We'll probaby have to wait till monday. The worst thing is I'm in india, so monday in US is tuesday morning for me! so i have to wait even longer!

:D i guess the time we spend on waiting is the same...

loveday is from where?

D was deferred and then accepted yesterday at 4 pm PST, as was another kid from her high school who had previously been deferred.

see, i waited longer than all of you. Cuz i applied Nov 1st India time which would still be Oct 31st! and i was supposed to get my results on 29th morning where it would still be 28th evening for US. Thus, i wait longer! And all that stuff "results out on march 31st" .. I WISH! for me, i gotta sleep and wake up the next morning.. i'm just the most impatient person on this side of the planet :D

I was not deferred and have yet to receive a decision.

haha actually I waited longer since I had an art supplement, so everything was due by October 15 for me:)

I'm from China^___^
