Deferred EA from Northeastern - BC, BU still hopeful?

<p>I applied early action to Northeastern and just found out that I was deferred to the RD pool, and I'm now doubting my chances of acceptance to BC and BU. My stats are:</p>

<p>GPA: 4.3 weighted, top 5% of class
APs: 7 throughout high school
SAT: 2110 cumulative, (750 W, 660 M, 700 Reading)
Good essay, great recs, average ECs (editor of school paper and volunteering, nothing special)</p>

<p>I was expecting an acceptance from Northeastern because my SAT scores and GPA exceeded their accepted average, so this has sufficiently freaked me out. Should I give up hope on BC and BU, too? These three were my top schools.</p>

<p>Don’t give up hope. Are your SAT scores within the 25-75%ile for BU and BC? If so, you have as good a chance as anyone else in that statistical neighborhood.</p>
