Deferred from Ncstate. Can I get in?

<p>2 years ago, the acceptance rate of deferred people was 16% but last year it was 28%

ACT: 29 composite (retaking in 2 weeks...hoping for at least a 30 composite)
574 senior students...in the top 20%
Extracurricular: NHS, Spanish Club, Dance for 10 years, piano for 10 years...started own job of teaching, volunteered at UNC hospitals as well as Duke hospitals....volunteered at a hospital in india...bunch of job shadows
Awards: presidential award for volunteering, AP Scholars award

<p>It’s difficult to say. Based on your ACT score, weighted GPA, and extracurricular activities; it’s a little surprising that you were deferred in the first place. I think it is your junior year grades that are biting you. Your stats lead me to believe that you are probably one of the more accomplished deferred applicants. It all comes down to whether the admissions office is willing to look past 5 Cs in a single year.</p>
