<p>Hi all, so I, like many others with threads here, was deferred from Stanford SCEA, but I really want to go there...it's been my top choice all along. Does anyone who has successfully been through the deferred process have any advice? I know the e-mail I got said that I should keep them up-to-date on my progress, but I am discouraged from sending extra letters of recommendation. Any advice to give?</p>

<p>They say in the e-mail NOT to send in any additional recommendations. They only want your mid-year report and IF any additional awards etc. then those are ok. They want to look at you again during the RD with all the other applicants. I know this was your first choice, but look into other schools as well.</p>
