Deferred..Now What?

I was deferred EA, and would like to improve my application. On the ND website it says to only send what they ask for, but I would like to send a supplement (essay, rec, etc) to improve my application. Would doing this be appropriate?

I don't recommend sending more than what's necessary.

Ask DDJones. She may have some good advice for you that she can send PM. I know that she has made really helpful suggestions to a couple of us that way.

Being deferred is a special situation and I think it would be permissible to send extra information. If you have recent grades, for sure send those. If you have improved on your SAT or ACT, again, send those. If you wanted to do a letter or an essay, I don't know how much it would help, but I don't think it could hurt. I normally wouldn't recommend doing that, but for a deferral where you are so close, I think it would be worthwhile. Good luck

Definately sennd anything that you think will help you application. Take the Jan SAT's if you need to up your scores and try a leter from your school principle and any awards you receive no matter how minor they seem to you.Good luck . Will keep praying
