Deferred... now what?

<p>I was deferred today. The letter says, "please ask your high school counselor to forward the grades when they are available."</p>

<p>I recently took the ACT and my score improved. However, I chose not to send my score report to U of M. (I was planning to send it in upon deferral.) Earlier today, I had my score sent.</p>

<p>I switched classes (to more advanced ones) after I applied to U of M. Also, I recently joined a new club.</p>

<p>How should I inform U of M of these changes?
What are my options? Can I/should I write a letter to the admissions office?</p>

<p>I would definitely put all of this in a letter. Also considering having another recommendation sent.</p>
