Deferred Students and Updates

Hi,

I heard that students who are deferred are encouraged to update MIT on what we have done (if there is anything new to look at ... ). I took the ACT in December and did really well (would boost my superscore from 33 to 35). So, should I send the score as soon as possible or wait until there is an announcement about updating them?

You should send scores whenever you can. Additional material probably wont change anything about your application unless it was really extraordinary.

The sooner you send your updates, the likelier it is that they will be included in your folder in time to be read.

Transcript from a college course taken have become available. Should they be sent directly from university or should I get them then forward them to MIT admissions?

I’m pretty sure you send the transcript through the college.
