So I did apply late which, so it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise for me to get this decision. I wasn’t placed on a waitlist or anything either, this was the final decision they gave me. I just can’t help but wonder why this is an option at this school. If I was not selected for the fall semester, which they claim is due to lack of space, I don’t really understand why they would offer me admission in January. Anyone else offered a similar final decision and wondering the same?
Because in January they might have more room to add students to campus. Students go on study abroad, or takes leaves of absence. The school also won’t have to include your stats in their data set, if they aren’t a boost to their data set. In short, it suits their needs, not yours.
This definitely puts it more into perspective to me. Welp suffice it to say, I didn’t accept that offer cause even when I contemplated it, I still had an idea relying feeling that all they cared about was my money and not any of my accomplishments from high school.
