so...if ED gets deferred, will we be able to update/change our apps, or is it all said and done?

No, you can send them more info. In fact, you can send them more info now. You can't go back and change/edit/add to your common app or princeton supplement, but you can inform them of important happenings

How do you that?

Email them...

Where would you e-mail them?

uaoffice@princeton.edu

^At the normal Admission Office e-mail??

yeap.....Especially if you made a mistake on your application....You are normally better off emailing them.

I have one thing I'd like to add, so I'm thinking I'll e-mail them with some of the stuff I forgot to mention also.

I just hope e-mailing them won't be bothering them.
haha Maybe they'll think it shows intiative...

maybe....you might not want to do that too often. Normally they would reply saying thank you for updating the information on your application......

On the other hand, you should only do it when it is totally necessary.

maddy have u tried to update by emailing them? do they just print the email and add it to the app?

seems they would be very busy at this time. i just mailed them with extra stuff

Yeah I haven't done it yet.

I'll do it today-- my first and last time. hehe

I actually made two typos on my application, but I decided not to email or mail them about it, as they were in my awards section, and most people whom I showed it to didn't catch it. Hopefully, the admissions officers won't think too much of the typos either.

am not talking about minor mistakes... am talking about Huge ones like mixup of names(lol it happened to me....but I cannot explain it here).

And yeah they are going to be busy now....you should have done all these before the rush period.

Anyways pk...yes I have, and they said thanks for updating and that they would forward my mail to the secreatary compiling the applications....etc etc

maddy_01:

What did you include when you emailed them?

Name, early decision, birthdate?

Is that it or do they need more?

Umm...i snailmailed them with updates. Think that's good enough?

Only mail them if it's big: - "Finalist for Siemens-Westinghouse"
Don't mail them with stuff like : "I also spent 100 hours building playgrounds for kids."

lol spending 100 hours building playgrounds for kids is cool though.
I'd think they'd like to know that....=)

And it's not going to change your fate either.

poo
That's what you think XD
maybe the Admission Officer has an affinity for playground sets.
You never know.
