Deferring USC entry

<p>Is it possible for me to defer my enrollment to USC this late into the summer? I was accepted a few days ago and due to the fact I live around five hours away from LA by plane, it is difficult for me to suddenly schedule for orientation, finding dorms, etc to meet the fall semester start date. If I request to defer, does that mean I forfeit my acceptance? Will I still be able to accept my current acceptance if my request is declined? Anyone know? Thank you.</p>
