Deleting ACT scores?

In June 2015, I took the ACT for the first time. I got a 31. I took the test again in September 2015 after studying a lot over the summer and unfortunately my score went down to a 30. Now, I am taking the test again for a final time in December 2015.

I recently discovered that it is indeed possible to just delete an ACT score. Not just cancel but completely delete. As I am considering applying to Yale in January, I am hoping my score goes up in December. Yale requires me to send ALL of my ACT scores, so if I score well on the December ACT can I just delete my September ACT score? I’m wondering if that’s allowed as they say ALL test scores.

This is throwing another wrench into this plan, but I applied early action to University of Chicago and Georgetown already. Are you able to delete a score, even if you’ve already submitted it to another school early? Sounds odd to me, but if it works and I have the better score it definitely would be advantageous.

Thanks.

Why in the world would you pay to delete a score that is only marginally different?

You probably can. Are you sure Yale won’t find out since you’ve already sent the score to Gtown? Yale says they will use your highest scores…
