<p>Hi, I would like to know if colleges will find out that you have deleted an ACT test score that you haven't sent to them. I'm asking this because I am applying to a few colleges that require all SAT and ACT scores. I sent all my SAT scores in but I've only sent them one of my two ACT scores. I don't want to spend money to send my other score or let the colleges see my other score. Should I bother deleting the lower test score? Will colleges see it even if I didn't send that score to them or mentioned it in my Common App? Thanks!</p>
<p>I didn’t know you could delete ANY test scores and I’m not clear why you feel the need to attempt it?</p>
<p>The score is deleted in the same way middle school test scores are. They are really gone and cannot be retrieved.</p>

I took two ACTs altogether, and I’ve only sent one of them to each college I’m applying to even for those who ask for all ACT scores. I am wondering if deleting the one I didn’t send will prevent colleges from seeing that I actually took the test more than once or will they be notified that I have deleted a test score that I never sent them?</p>

<p>@stage4survivor: Well, the problem is not if it matters if they see 2 scores, but if the colleges will find out that I only sent them one of my test scores when I’m supposed to send them all of my test scores. So I was wondering if deleting a score from my records will solve the case in colleges ever finding out that I also took another ACT test besides the one I sent them.</p>

<p>Thanks, so on the letter that the ACT testing agency sent to me about deleting my test results from their records, it said, “…your high school, college and scholarship agency choices will be informed that your test results have been deleted. We will request these agencies remove all copies of these scores from their files.” For example, I only sent my October test score and not my June test score to colleges, but I want to delete my June test score, will the colleges be notified that I also had a test score from June that I never notified them about?</p>
