<p>I got invited to join this DEI Honor Society thing, but I'm not really sure what it is and what it does. Is anyone familiar with it? I personally didn't even know colleges had 'honor societies', and I thought maybe this was similar to NHS in high school. What are the requirements to stay a member and stuff? The website isn't very informative.</p>
<p>I know a lot of people who got invitation to that society. I would not bother, especially since the advantages you get from being there are not really good so… I just threw all the papers to the trash bin. Now I keep getting ‘friendly reminders’ from them to apply</p>

<p>Sometimes you can do a search on these forums to see what others have to say about these groups. Most are not worth the fee to join.</p>
