What would you say are the "most" Democrat or GOP schools.

LACs in the northeast tend to be very liberal (Amherst, Vassar, Swarthmore, Brandeis, etc.). And most NorCal schools (Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz). And most urban city schools (NYU, GWU).

Lots of the southern schools are conservative (College of Charleston, Clemson, Baylor, etc.). Then there's the occasional stand-out LAC (Franklin and Marshall, etc.). Strongly Catholic schools tend to be conservative as well (Notre Dame).

State schools typically echo the beliefs of the individual state, with some exceptions (such as UT Austin, which is very liberal).

Hope that helps?

Also, do you mean democrat and republican, or conservative and liberal? Because there are plenty of liberal (and I would imagine conservative) minded schools where many students are critical of both parties (for instance, at Wes, although I would guess most/many students are registered Democrats, there is also a lot of critisim of democratic policy/of the two party system in general, etc, etc.).
