Demonstrate proeffiency in a language?

<p>I was reading the requirements for a BS in Computer Science and it said that for foreign language requirements, I need "Three semesters in the same language, or equivalent proficiency. " </p>

<p>If I took a language for three years in HS will this cut it? Or will I have to take a test?</p>

<p>The language proficiency tests are administered during orientation. That's when you'll get the chance to show how much you learned those 3 years in high school :)</p>
