showed up 5 minutes late to the exam site due to car problems. the proctor was still reading instructions and students didn't started on the MC exam yet. i explained my situation and expected sympathy yet the proctor was adamant saying he had to follow the AP policy.

Any recommendations?

Maybe you can take the alternate?
Talk with your guidance counselor.

Yeah, try to see if you can arrange to take the test on the alternate date. The proctor was in the right; once the shrink wrap on the booklets is opened, they absolutely cannot let you on.

daaaaammmmmmmmmm that suuuucks i wudve cried lol…wow i hope CB lets you take late one man wow i feelya

still on instructions? a bunch of people do that in my school

once the MC is opened, then he’s technically right but that really sux especially since it was car trouble
But if it was still instructions, i don’t know why this would be
i don’t know what to say… when people are sick they don’t get alternate exams
so sorry dude

During my testing administrations, several students were allowed in right before the MC section was to begin.

At my son’s school, they wait for late students to begin. Today they waited 45 minutes for someone who overslept.

gosh u have a strict proctor…@ my school, i walked in about a minute before they started mc choice…no one batted an eye

i believe may 7th was the deadline to register for late testing . From the looks of things, i think im fcked. i studied hard for this **** too.

try calling up CB to see if you can arrange for late testing and explain your situation. Maybe they’ll let you sign up an extra late fee
