Do you mean the neighborhood in SE Copenhagen?
If so, I have, but only to go up the spire at Vor Frelsers Kirke. The place was dead at 14 on a weekend. I am sure that if I had been there at other times the place would have been jumping.

oh noo, you did NOT just confuse sweden and switzerland
everybody does that
what the ****

i've never known anyone to confuse sweden and switzerland. what are they, like 2000 miles apart?

The chocolate in Sweden IS good. Then again, I think it's mostly imported from Belgium...:)

and yeah Kman, I'm interested in going there.

unregistered: No, but my gf did when she stayed in Denmark.

Well, when I think about Denmark I think about quite fat men waking up at 3 AM eating red hot-dogs as a nighttime snack.

I have no idea as of why this image comes to my mind, but I do remember someone telling me when I was little that Danes ate a lot of these nighttime snacks, so I guess that's what stuck with me. As for the red hot-dogs; Danes are famous in Norway for them!

In closing I'd like to tell you that Norway really is a great country to live in. And eventhough I several times a day dream about how life would be in more exciting places in the world, there really isn't any place I'd rather grow up. It's safe, including, modern, rich and last but not least FUN :-)

When I think about these language I think about umlauts. In other words, I visualize the the script of martians. I still don't understand how people type with these things....

I spent three weeks of my summer at denmark, and I love it there.
if I ever have the chance I'll go there again and I won't mind living there.
everyone can speak english, which is excellent. transportation is good. roads not congested. Tivoli (an amusement park in copenhagen) is awesome! too bad when I went there, it was raining most of the time
but things are expensive there...

Finland is the way to go. It is the most literate and the most blonde nation in the world. :)

Well heres the rondown

Norway- a lot of nature smaller, quieter
Sweden-hot girls, the most death metal-badass
Finland- death metal, and see the Winter War
Denmark-uber liberal,clean

Eek, I’d pick somewhere a little more friendly. Spain, say.

So this schitzophrenic cretin broke out of an insane asylum in Sweden…

They caught him teaching school in Finland!

I’m something like 1/16 Norse.

GO VIKINGS!!!

Either Finland or Norway. What have they got going for themselves? Let’s see here…

Finland— Jean Sibelius. I’m listening to his second symphony right now. Very moving. Also, the fact that Finland managed to resist Soviet military aggression. Proficiency in guerilla warfare has always been a plus in my book.

Norway— Edvard Grieg and Henrik Ibsen. Liked Grieg’s piano concerto, not too hot about ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’. Ibsen is slowly growing on me. Started reading An Enemy of the People and it seemed too cliche for me, might start over on A Doll’s House or Hedda Gabler.

Conclusion: I might go to Norway just because I’ve heard the geography (Fjords) is spectacular, but I would want to be listening to Sibelius while sightseeing. What can I say, I’m a hair-splitter…

the hottest girls in the world come from sweden and norway ^^

Denmark, largely because I am Danish. Next is Norway, with Sweden fairly close behind, and Finland trailing.

You guys know that even though Finland is geographically close to Scandinavia they do not speak a Scandinavian language, yes?
