Departmental/College/Latin Honors

*I'm assuming that college and latin honors are different...Correct me if I'm wrong...

To receive latin honors, do they determine your eligibility at the end of winter quarter during your senior year?

To receive college honors, do you have to be a part of the honors program or is there another way for you receive college honors by completing a research project or whatnot?

Do they indicate both distinctions on the diploma? How about departmental honors? Same thing?

And lastly, I'm not sure how they do it at the university-level, but do you receive some type of rope, or robe, to indicate that you're graduating with honors, such as latin, college, and departmental?

Thanks a bunch!

for college honors, there are two tracks you can pursue: this website details them. UCLA Honors Programs Academics

there's also a link for departmental honors on the left.

i know nothing about latin honors... aside from the fact that yes, all three types of honors are different.
