I always hear great things about both school. I know that they are both excellent schools. But comparing both, which college is better overall? I hear DePaul is more well-known in the region, and that their students get better internship prospects. On the other hand, I hear that Loyola offers a better “Traditional” college experience. I also hear that Loyola offers a better study abroad program. From the prespective of Loyola students, speaking objectively, which college is better in general?
I am not a Loyola student (yet) but I toured both. Personally, I hated DePaul and actually ditched the tour halfway through but I love love loved Loyola. I’ve actually heard the opposite, that Loyola is better known. I think Loyola is academically superior to DePaul, although DePaul does have some programs that Loyola doesn’t. So, doing my best to be objective here, I believe Loyola is a more prestigious institution.
