<p>I wasn't really clear on Pitt's deposit policy. Is it best to send in the deposit, even if you're not 100% sure?</p>
<p>I seem to recall the enrollment deposit was non-refundable. And once you send the enrollment deposit you have a specific amount of time to send in the housing deposit (which is refundable). If you don't send the housing deposit within the specified time you lose the guarantee of dorms. The housing deposit is due on a sliding timeline dependent upon when they receive the enrollment deposit so you don't have until May 1 to send it in (I think it was like due 4 weeks after they had received the enrollment deposit).</p>
