I took the june 4th exam....I thought i did pretty well. When i saw my scores...i went into a state of depression. Is it just me or is the curve crazy...i got 4 wrong in the math section and got 690. 8 wrong in reading and got 680....2 wrong in writing and 9 for the essay and got 730. Is this what the normal curve is usually like? All the SAT books had a way easier curve....comments? By the way i took it in Canada.

that curve should go to hell or they made a mistake. From reports i have heard the june "3" curve was pretty generous. i dont know if yours was the same. dont get down on yourself though. Try and take it again and do better.

paradigm - the curve is really mean, especially on math...i got 2 wrong and didn't answer 2 and got a 670.

***, those are horrid curves.

if they did make a mistake...which is improbable...how would i go about finding it out???

"paradigm - the curve is really mean, especially on math...i got 2 wrong and didn't answer 2 and got a 670."

i find this impossible

I got 6 wrong, 0 omitted and got a 680 on the math for the June 3 test.

math curve really tough, missed 3, omitted 0 = 720
writing curve was alright: missed 5, omitted 0, 8 on essay = 660
reading, dont wanna talking a/b that lol

paradigm how do you know you didn't miss 5?

Well, i know i missed 4 because that's what it says on my online report....

"math curve really tough, missed 3, omitted 0 = 720"

that's not really tough, that's pretty average

Missed 4 on math, got a 700
Missed 8 on reading, got a 680.
Missed 16 on writing (yeah... I know), got a 540 (yeah... I know).

Missed 4 in Math had 710, Missed 6 CR had 740.

Math curve was only slightly more difficult, -1 for me = 780. Really tough would have been -1 = 760. Writing curve for me was the exact same as April--, -3 both times for a 72 raw score.

wow i do believe the math curve is evil...i mean if -1 is 760 for some tests, then god am i happy i missed 1 and got a 790 in april

yeah the curve definitely sucks.

for math. i got NONE WRONG, but omitted one, which i remember to be quite a killer, and i got a 780. i mean im not complaining cuz im happy with a 780, but still, so close to an 800. Just kills me

for verbal i got 8 wrong and no omittted and i got a 680. Whatever.

:(

weird the curve didnt seem that terrible for me:
Math: 3 wrong = 740
CR: 6 wrong = 720
W: 5 wrong 1 omit 10 essay = 700

math: missed 9, omit 0--680.
writing: missed 7, omit 0, 9 essay--640.

Math is a killer... So many people get near-perfect raw scores. Makes the curve harder. It might actually be better to concentrate on reading to get your V+M score up.

Math: 5 wrong, twice= 680, 690
Reading: 11 wrong (ouch!)= 650 5 wrong= 740
Writing: 5 wrong, 11 essay= 680 3 wrong, 10 essay= 750

I imagine writing will become much like math since it is very technical...

yeah, I got one wrong on math and got 770...sigh
