<p>Hello :) I am thinking about which topic I should write about for my college admission essay. This is on the common application. The topics are very generic, and I am considering choosing the one about "someone who influences you and why". I wanted to write about my grandma, who's a very selfless and truly educated and incredible woman. Is this a good idea, or is it too common? </p>
