¡La cucaracha, la cucaracha ya no puede caminar, porque le falta, porque no tiene una pata pa' andar!

We don't really have a smartest person, and if there is, there are so many people I may not even knoe him/her. Everyone who has a reputation for being smart is really good at a couple subjects, so it's hard to compare.

Me...no, but seriously the smartest kid would have to be this 13 yr. old who is in multivariable calculus, taken all the science, math, and French AP's our school offers, and is currently taking a Chinese course at one of the local universities.

Absolutely no life. Study in between classes, driving home, at home, in between sleeping, on the way to school, and the time before school starts. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Thats the price to pay for a perfect GPA throughout high school. Too bad he has no life.

Hmm. Well there are a few kids who are smart at my school. Basically the three girls who have 4.0's in all Honors/AP classes are girls who do extracurriculars for the sake of putting things on their resume.

I'm one of the 2 guys in our Top 5, and we actually pursue extracurriculars for fun (the other one is a close friend of mine).

Maybe they do things they like that also look good on a resume. From experience, that's what most people I know do- not just pure resume-building in activities they hate, nor doing everything without a single thought for their resumes...

I can see that, but one girl is on the math team, JSA (when she really has no interest in politics, I know because she's a friend of mine), is a member of various environmental organizations at my school, volunteers at the local tennis center (once again, she has told me that she knows nothing about tennis), and does student government.

She holds no leadership positions in any of them. I mean, I know there is a possibility of her liking every single one, but its unlikely.

Well, leadership isn't terribly consistent with how much she likes them. I mean, in my experience, most elections = thinly veiled popularity contests.

The smartest kid in my school is pretty awesome, and someone I respect.

^agreed !

personally, though, i think smartest is part ability, part hard work...i don't know anyone with both, but on the extremes...

there is a girl who is extremely smart, but doesn't study ANYTHING...she gets things so quickly though, it's insane! she was sick two weeks, and i explained the concept we were doing in class-and she got in within literally two minutes.

the girl i know who works her butt off, seriously studies every weekend and every night and makes ME look like "wild and crazy"...i respect her persistence though

Conceited

(see aigiqinf)

Honestly though, I think I can say I'm the smartest in my class of only 75.... soon to be near a class of 50.

the smartest kid at my school is an eighth grader who comes into our school to take multivariable calculus and AP chem

I have no idea who the smartest kid in my school is. I do know a couple of very smart people, but not well enough to understand how their minds work :P

i can describe the smartest person at my school all in one word:

me.

:-p

hes this really weird kid

he gets high on levmetamfetamine and is terrified of window blinds

he will also spontaneously combust if there is no ventilation system in the room
