Desktop or Laptop?

I have a full tower I built last summer, and a four year old laptop (dell Inspiron 6000, lots of dents but still runs strong lol). I was wondering if I should bring both to college or just buy a new laptop and use it all the time.

Thats a toughy. I think it all depends on if you willing to drop the neccesary cash and what you want to be able to do. I would think you laptop will be able to do what ever you need it to do as long as hardcore gaming inside of Starbucks isn't a hobby of yours. Although not having a desktop would save space...

Laptop. Trust me, if you're assigned to a double, no one is trying to see their roommate in the room all day. It's really annoying. Plus, you'll need the portability for group assignments. Lastly, when the weather clears up, it's not unusual to see students outside on the grass doing work to take advantage of campus wireless.

laptop for sure.

another vote for laptop

laptop because you're going to need to use a computer outside of your dorm a lot.

Just bring a good laptop, and an external drive (one of the HUGE 500 gig+ ones) if you really need the space as a backup to keep in your room.
