Desperate for guidance in Choosing a Major! PLEASE

Hey everyone,

Let me start off by saying I'm kinda new to this so if you are kind enough to respond to my plea for help, please message me so i can actually read the response. I know it sounds stupid, but I made several posts and now i can't find any of them. gosh. haha. OR if you're super busy, just post it and I'll find this post again soon. Thanks!

Okay, so I'm REALLY desperate to get into UCB UCLA OR USC. I think if these schools had any idea how desperate i am to get in, they'd probably accept me(even though so many other people are more qualified). I want to get into these schools because of personal reasons (family issues that might sound stupid to others). So anyway here it goes:

I currently go to UC Riverside, and i just entered my second year.
Major: Political Science/Law and Society
GPA: 3.24
Extracurricular: Internship at a Law firm last summer

Like i said, I REALLY want to get in and I heard my major is REALLY common so I'll have a lot more competition. I was wondering if you guys knew some weird majors i could choose so I'd have a higher chance on getting in? I don't know if I'm allowed to ask these kinds of questions, but i REALLY want to get in. Any suggestions?

Thank You for reading this! and sorry i rambled so much!

if you wanted to go to UCB/LA/USC as badly as said you do then i think you would have tried harder and gotten better grades. But anyways, the average gpa for the asian humanities major at UCLA was 3.18 last year and the admit rate was 80% so you might try that. Rhetoric at Berkeley is pretty easy to get into as well.

............ don't know what to say after reading this post. My only suggestion: trying "Hard" and thinking "carefully" when you do anything would help you more than getting a "weird" degree from any of those schools. Good luck.
p/s I saw the statistic about Ber's majors. I remember there was a major that graduates earn an average of below 29000/year at Berkeley !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want $29000/year, then go for it
